Sponsored by Iniciativa Comunitaria since 2002, the B’antiox Project is a community development initiative with a health promotion approach. Peace Initiatives seeks to create the conditions that support the community of Caribe Rubel Tzul and its bordering villages in improving their capacity to deal with and prevent health related problems.
Services we provide
Volunteers are the soul
The program is run entirely by volunteers. Each person is responsible for his/her travel costs. The team comprises doctors, medical students, pharmacists, general health students and professionals. Children make up a large share of the population in this area, thus there’s a great need to recruit Pediatricians.
In addition, we need general volunteers to assist in the pharmacy area, provide support to medical personnel, engage children in activities, manage food provision for volunteers, assist in queue lines, and help with minor repairs of B’antiox Center, among other things.
GIVE US A HAND | DONATE
